Thankfulness | Day 24

I'm sitting in the San franscisco airport right now. We're here because our plane to Hawaii is having mechanical difficulties. Kip and Lucy are walking around. Lucy has been awake for 15 hours with no sleep!

So what am I thankful for? That our plane didn't crash. That we had an extra seat for Lucy on both flights on the busiest travel day of the year. For mostly nice flight attendants and for nice fellow travelers. That we will eventually get to Hawaii and be with family. That we get to go through this as a family. That we get to celebrate thanksgiving. Because despite the inconvenience of this day we have so much to be thankful for. I am blessed, and far be it from me to let trivialities like unplanned plane stops and exhausted children keep me from having a thankful heart!
