Our little girl is growing up fast. She is nearly 7 1/2 months old already! I took these pictures of her a few days ago to document her progress this month. She is as bright-eyed as ever, and her eyes are getting more and more blue every day. An old man on the T (Boston's subway system) told me her eyes looked purple to him!
Her hair is also growing in even more these days. She looked somewhat red headed when she was a newborn and then the hair started looking really blonde. Recently, though, I've been seeing more of the strawberry blonde tones reappear.
As you can tell from the pictures, she is sitting up very well these days. She is also very curious and trying to figure out how things work. She is not crawling yet, but she scoots backwards very quickly. She is also lifting herself onto her hands and knees and rocking back and forth and sometimes she even lifts herself onto her hands and feet and looks like she is doing yoga!
The other thing that is developing and changing quickly is her talking abilities. She is making new sounds every day and it is exciting to see her progress so quickly.

What a cutie! She's getting so big and beautiful. Once they really start interacting - a whole different kind of fun begins! :)
