A few days ago Lucy and I trekked out to Concord to do some strawberry picking at Verrill Farm. We chose Verrill Farm for a few reasons:
1.) I like their sustainable agricultural practices
2.) Their strawberries are "no-spray"
3.) Location - they're only 1/2 an hour from our house!
4.) They were featured on Curious George (which is one of our very favorite shows around here!)
All of that, combined with the fact that they still had u-pick strawberries available this late into the strawberry season made it the perfect place for us to go, and we were not disappointed. We got muddy, hot and sweaty, but we had a great time and ended up picking three pounds of strawberries in the first 20 minutes!
